Pitch your lab

Call for Laboratory Presentations

We invite research groups from all areas of virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and 3D User Interface to submit a “Pitch Your Lab” package at the IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality 2020 (ISMAR 2020) that will be held as a virtual conference. Accepted submissions will require that at least one author attends the conference to present orally in a dedicated “Pitch Your Lab” session. Past ISMAR conferences attest that knowing the people and projects of a group helps promoting its reputation and also facilitates potential collaborations.

Submitted materials should include a document which is one page maximum in length, and optionally a recorded video featuring the contents of the document. The document may include, but not limited to, the group’s research areas, equipment, current research projects, industrial and academic collaborations, recently completed works, representative images, university/city highlights. Any open research, student position, and other informational materials for circulation should be included in the package as a separate document, with each item as a one-line title and contact person.

The document and other materials in the submitted package will not be included in the ISMAR proceedings. However, they will be made available on ISMAR 2020 website. Authors are also encouraged to send the URL of a webpage that the labs would use to continuously provide up-to-date information about its research and open positions.

Submissions and questions can be directed to the “Pitch Your Lab” chairs at: pitchyourlab@ismar20.org
