Registration

This year, ISMAR will be fully virtual. In this scenario, we tried to be as inclusive as possible, minimizing the registration costs for all attendees. Even though, the process of registration is still necessary for presenting authors of any kind of work submitted to the ISMAR 2020 conference.

We remind you the value of taking part on the premier conference for Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) as a registered attendee. You will be able to discuss with the leaders from academy and industry, update your state-of-the-art knowledge, and expand your opportunities in the field.

Author Registration

All published works must have one registered author by the camera-ready deadline of the publication to validate it. The value for authors is the same for all types of scientific publication (TVCG, Main Track, Workshops, Tutorials, Posters, Demos, Doctoral Consortium, Pitch Your Lab). Authors should refer to the specific call for participation for the registration deadline.

Non-Author and Author-Not-Registering-a-Paper Registration

Non-authors and authors-not-registering-a-paper must also be registered to present their works and access the online platforms for the event, mobile event app, social activities, Q&A, proceedings before/during conference, and much more.

Newcomers and inclusion action

Event live streaming of some tracks will be available without registration or fees, with the link in the ISMAR website, in order to reach a broad audience and facilitate newcomers’ access.

Non-Presented Paper (No-Show) Policy

IEEE ISMAR 2020 enforces a “no show” policy. Any accepted work included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy to present the work at the conference. Authors of the accepted work included in the final program who do not present at the conference virtual meeting will be added to a “No Show List”, compiled by the Conference. The “no show” work will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore or other public access forums, but the copyright of these papers will belong to the IEEE.

IEEE Membership

If you are an IEEE Member, will need to log in to your IEEE Member Account to have access to the special price.

All registrations will grant Full Access to the conference. Registration fees will be collected in US Dollars.

FAQ

1 – Can one author register as the registered author for two or more papers/publications?
– Yes. During registration at Cvent, the author should inform all papers/publications for validation.

2 – Can the author registered as “author-not-registering-a-paper” actually present a paper?
– Yes. As long as the paper has one author registered to validate the paper, another registered attendee (“non-author or author-not-registering-a-paper”) can present the paper without any problems.
